Webinar for financial professionals: using Simplerinvoicing for e-invoicing

At April's Invoicing Congress, the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs announced that, by the end of 2018, all government departments and agencies that procure goods or services must be capable of receiving electronic invoices. In the shorter term, the government will amend its general terms and conditions to require all suppliers to submit e-invoices. Simplerinvoicing will be one of the three e-invoice formats that can be accepted.

For financial professionals, the plans unveiled by the ministry represent a significant development. In the last few years, more and more organisations have started phasing out paper and PDF invoices. Now that the government is switching over, almost every organisation in the Netherlands will be drawn into the migration.

On Wednesday 25 May, from 3pm to 4pm (CEST), Simplerinvoicing is therefore organising a Dutch-language webinar to help companies get started with e-invoicing. Joppe Duindam, Chair of the Board of Simplerinvoicing, will explain all about using Simplerinvoicing to send and receive electronic invoices. How does e-invoicing work? What do you need to do in order to be ready for e-invoicing?

After that, Michiel Henneke, Marketing Manager at Simplerinvoicing, will interview prominent figures from two forward-looking organisations that already use Simplerinvoicing. What prompted them to get started with e-invoicing? How did the implementation go? What's been achieved and what are the advantages? The webinar will conclude with the guests giving tips on e-invoicing and describing their vision of the future.
