(De)centralised digital identities in practice
(De)centralised digital identities in practice
With digital service delivery accelerating since the pandemic, and an increasingly migratory population, the need for durable, scalable identity solutions and infrastructures is greater than ever. We are witnessing the dawn of a new era of decentralisation across a landscape shaped by the EU's regulatory framework for identities and attributes, opening the way for straightforward new cross-border trust and transaction mechanisms. Against that backdrop, the theme of this year's IDnext Event is (de)centralised digital identities, and how they operate in practice. Everyone is invited to attend and get involved in the debate about electronic IDs and the associated challenges.
De Fabrique in Utrecht is once again hosting the annual IDnext Event, with this year's edition scheduled for 27 and 28 September. A fascinating and varied programme has been prepared, based around the theme of (de)centralised digital identities in practice. The IDnext Event is Europe's leading, independent, interdisciplinary conference on digital identities. Experts, innovators and key players from around the world will be shedding light on a wide variety of important issues, including digital wallets, self-sovereign identity and attributes, authentication, and IDs in e-commerce, finance and the metaverse. Check out the provisional event programme.
The programme is a mix of practical demonstrations, presentations and panel discussions. Plus the now traditional 'un-conference' sessions, where you can raise the subjects that matter to you, debate with other attendees, and share ideas about the challenges ahead. If your company or organisation is involved in digital ID policies, security, systems or processes, you won't want to miss the IDnext Event 2022. IDnext is organising the event in close collaboration with SIDN. The two organisations are pooling resources, knowledge and information to create an exceptional, independent, two-day conference.
