Reflecting on another successful Contact Day

A completely renovated Galgenwaard Stadium was the venue for our annual Contact Day on 1 December. The event was once again as enjoyable as it was inspiring. Security intelligence, DDoS attacks on the root, the draft directive on the online sale of digital content, the power of virals, 3D pizzas, drones that can do your shopping, the smart mousetrap, the Internet of Things: all came up for discussion. Between the sessions and talks, there was plenty of time for networking – chatting with RA board members, for example, or learning about a project supported by SIDN Fund. And there were hamburgers all round, the opportunity to see Pepper the robot in action and even get a quality shine on your shoes. In short, it was a very successful gathering.
