16 March at the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam

Both for public and private-sector organisations and for consumers, electronic identification is a key feature of the way the digital landscape is developing. In many sectors where paper-based identification was taken for granted not so long ago, electronic identification is now firmly established as the norm. What implications does the European Digital Identity Wallet have for the Netherlands? Is self-sovereign identity the solution? What do the latest developments in electronic identification mean for the privacy and digital security of individual citizens? And how are various sectors adapting to this technological sea change?

The eighth e-Identity Congress is a Dutch-language event that brings together stakeholders and end users of electronic identity solutions. We'll be at the congress to promote IRMA with a workshop and an information stand.

Workshop: how an electronic identity wallet can benefit your organisation

On 16 March, SIDN's Online Identity Business Developers Bob Kronenburg and Peter Eikelboom will deliver a Dutch-language workshop setting out how an electronic identity wallet can benefit your organisation. There will be 2 editions of the workshop, the first from 11:30 to 12:00, the second from 12:00 to 12:30 (local time). Bob and Peter will explain how an identity wallet can cut costs, reduce risk and fraud, and optimise the customer journey, while also opening the way for the development of new (data) services.

Sneak preview of the redesigned IRMA app

Has the workshop got you interested? Want to learn more? Feel free to drop by our information stand in the refreshments area. Our people will be pleased to answer your questions. They can also give you a sneak preview of the comprehensively redesigned IRMA app, which is scheduled for its launch under a new name on 4 April.
