About Marjet van Zuijlen

From 1994 to 2000, Marjet was a member of the Dutch parliament, where she represented the PvdA (Labour Party). In 2000, she left front-line politics and began a career in the private sector as a partner and later Executive Committee member at Deloitte. Changing of the guard

Our Supervisory Board's current Chair, Paul Schnabel, will retire on 1 September, having served the maximum term of nine years. SIDN's CEO Roelof Meijer said, "Over the last nine years, the SIDN organisation has grown considerably, and the .nl domain has gone from just over a million domain names to more than six million. During Paul's time in the chair, the Supervisory Board has overseen the foundation of SIDN Fund, the acquisition and sale of Connectis (now Signicat), and the development of new services such as SIDN BrandGuard and CyberSterk, for example. Such developments have been highly influential in shaping the SIDN that we know today, And Paul has played a vital role in them all. We are therefore extremely grateful to him. At the same time, we are delighted to have secured the services of such a capable successor. I look forward very much to working with Marjet."
