Is your business hack-proof?

SIDN wants the internet to be open and safe. So, during the current European Cyber Security Month, we're working with our Alert Online partners to get more people thinking about internet security. With the aim of raising awareness in the SME sector, we're looking for enterprises who'll let Hackman put their security to the test.

What's involved?

Hackman.nl

Do you reckon you've got a good grip on your internet security? Rickey Gevers, alias Hackman, is ready and waiting to put your set-up to the test. We're looking for enterprises that are willing to have their website and e-mail security probed. As a volunteer, you'll get free advice about the strengths and weaknesses of your systems.

What will we do with the results?

We're going to make a video about what Hackman finds. The video will be used to spotlight the issues for other SMEs and to point them towards solutions. It'll be a respectful, professional production, and you'll be consulted about what we feature. Nothing will be published until you've been able to address any issues that Hackman finds.

Who are we looking for?

We're after SMEs that do business on the internet under their own domain names. As a volunteer, you'll need to spend a couple of hours with Hackman and the video crew at the end of October. Afterwards, we'll give you practical advice on making your website and e-mail (even) more secure.
