Strategy consultation group

The strategy consultation group helps us to increase our impact

SIDN wants to serve the Dutch internet community in the best possible way. To help us do that, we set up a strategy consultation group in 2022. The group is made up of representatives from a wide variety of stakeholder bodies, who provide us with valuable input and feedback on our strategy. That helps us to make better decisions about how we use our time and resources, and thus to maximise our impact.

What is the strategy consultation group's role?

The strategy consultation group meets twice a year to discuss SIDN's strategy, explore relevant interests and considerations, test support for particular courses of action, and provide feedback and suggestions. The group is a vehicle for discussion, not a formal advisory body. Nevertheless, the input it provides can lead us to review or refine our strategy.

Who are the strategy consultation group's members?

The strategy consultation group is made up of people from right across the Dutch internet community, with an independent Chair.

Chair

Haroon Sheikh, a Professor at VU Amsterdam who also works at the Scientific Council for Government Policy (WRR).
